What you can do
The essentials, done properly.
Editing, importing and sharing, with the details that stop work from getting lost. Everything else was cut on purpose. Hover a card to replay it.
Autosave you can see
Every change saves a second after you stop typing. The status is always on screen, never a toast.
Import .docx, .md, .txt
Drop in a file up to 5 MB. Headings, lists and emphasis come across.
Owner-controlled sharing
Share by email as Editor or Viewer. Everyone else gets Not found.
No silent overwrites
Each save carries the version it started from. If someone saved first, you choose: reload or overwrite.
Keyboard-first
Every toolbar action has a shortcut, and the toolbar shows what's active.
Light and dark
Both themes are designed, not inverted.
How it works
From blank page to shared, and back.
Four steps cover the whole product. Scroll through them.
- 1
Write
Create a document and start typing. Formatting comes from the toolbar or the keyboard, and every change saves itself.
- 2
Import
Already have notes? Import a .txt, .md or .docx file and it opens as a new document you can keep editing.
- 3
Share
Add a teammate by email as Editor or Viewer. It shows up for them under Shared with me straight away.
- 4
Revoke
Remove someone and their access ends on their very next request, checked on the server, not just hidden.
Built to be trusted
The boring parts, done carefully.
Every number below comes straight from the codebase. The security notes explain each decision.
82
automated API tests
Access rules, sharing, import and saves, run with Jest and Supertest.
1
access rule, checked on every request
Every document and share route goes through the same server-side rule.
404
not 403, for documents you can't see
So nobody can probe which document IDs exist.
409
instead of a silent overwrite
Optimistic locking on every save: stale edits are caught, not lost.
Demo accounts
Log in as someone, then switch.
Each account shows a different side of sharing. One click signs you in and opens the dashboard. Prefer typing? The password is demo1234.
